Wellness Escapes consider conservation of the environment and exercising social awareness to be significant and globally important, as such it is at the core of all we do.
Wherever possible we implement best practice and sustainable initiatives which to ensure our daily practices do not have a negative environmental or social impact. This includes reducing general waste, separating green and general waste, recycling, reducing energy use and overall daily water consumption. We also favour use of fair trade products and use sustainable products wherever possible. Additionally, we encourage all our suppliers (including hotels, resorts and wellness retreats) to act in an environmentally sensitive manner, and request evidence of a CSR or environmental policy when they join us as advertisers; this also encourages and supports our industry to be better global citizens.
